Holiday Club Awesome Adventure Days

For something a bit different, we offer special days which vary depending on the time of year. Children will have fun trying out new activities including High-Ropes, Parkour, Paddle-boarding, Scuba Diving at a local pool, Surfing in Porthcawl or Watersports in Ilfracombe. All instruction and transport is provided and sessions are suitable for novices unless otherwise stated. The prices for the different away days are noted below.

High Ropes (7 YEARS+ and over 1.3m tall)

Kids will love the Mojo Active 15-stage high ropes adventure course, set in private woodland at Mojo Active’s Almondsbury location. The structure is between 3 and 5 meters high and accessed by an initial climb up a Burma Bridge. Children will receive full instruction and safety equipment before enjoying zip wiring through the trees, scaling the islands in the sky, balancing on rickety bridges.

CHILDREN MUST BE OVER 1.30m TALL TO PARTICIPATE / HEIGHT WILL BE CHECK BY STAFF ON ARRIVAL - if under 1.30m we cannot guarantee places will be available on the regular Holiday Club.

HOLIDAY CLUB WITH AIR HOP (7 YEARS +)

Bounce, bounce, bounce along with us to Air Hop for some ultimate bouncing fun. Get jumping over 140 interconnected trampolines across floors and walls or challenge new friends on their Obstacle Course, Wipeout Zone, Dodgeball court, Slam Dunk with Battle Baskets and Battle Beams. The children will return to Mojo for lunch and spend the afternoon at our Holiday Club. So double the fun!!

EXTREME DAY (11 YRS +)

A full-on active day for older children combining all the best Mojo activities. Taking on zorbs, archery tag, axe throwing, air rifles and high ropes, the kids will be truly exhilarated and exhausted by the end of the day!

MOJO SURVIVAL DAY (7 YRS +)

There’s no excuse not to go wild with our amazing survival day……….. your priorities are fire, shelter, water and food. Learn how to build an effective shelter in the woods (including wind direction and likely flooding areas) and those essential skills of archery for catching food, fire building and fire-lighting to cook and keep warm, gutting a fish and cooking it on your fire!

COASTEERING IN ILFRACOMBE (11 YRS +)

Definitely one for the adrenaline junkies out there! Come with us on an exciting day trip near Ilfracombe for some exhilarating coasteering. We will be climbing over rocks, jumping into the sea, swimming through gullies and exploring caves. If you are a newcomer to coasteering, then you’ll be pleased to hear that it’s minimum skill for maximum thrill!

PLEASE NOTE: The combination of paddle-boarding and cliff jumps is dependent on the weather and local sea conditions, however the kids always have a great time.

Children will need to be dropped off at our Mojo Active site @ 08:15hrs for the trip / Collection from Mojo Active in the afternoon @ 17:30hrs

The Coasteering kit including wetsuit is supplied so all you need to bring is:

Water Sports day (11 YEARS +)

Give your kids the chance to try out three different water sports activities; Traditional kayaking, paddle boarding and sit on top kayaking. A full day at the local Quarry in Cromhall will provide them with the basic skills they need to get them started for any summer holiday adventure. This full on day is run by our very own water sports specialist Ollie, if he doesn’t know something about water sports, then it’s not worth knowing!!

The day is a full day at the quarry, we provide the return transport to the quarry and all water sports apart from a wet suit. If you have one it maybe a good idea to bring it.
