Forest School for 2 - 5 year olds

We are delighted to offer a pre-school forest school at Mojo Active to encourage a love of nature and the outdoors in younger children. Children will be able to explore, play, create, learn and have amazing adventures in a safe environment, fully facilitated by our Forest School leaders Lisa and Grainne. Numbers are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Instill a love of nature early!

Set in over 80 acres of private fields and woodland, Mojo Active is the ideal place to get up close to nature and enjoy the outdoors. Our Forest School is for pre-school aged children and gives young children opportunities to interact with nature and enjoy all that the outdoors has to offer. This is a fun club for children to play, create, use their imagination and enjoy mini adventures in a safe environment.

Activities include making bug hotels, treasure hunts, mud kitchens, painting, story time, nature crafts, building dens, mini beast hunts and lots more.

Please note:

children must be aged between 2 - 5 years and be accompanied by a parent/adult
activities will be outside so please ensure children are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear
all equipment will be provided

Meet your Forest School Leaders

Lisa is a registered childminder with a Level 3 Childcare & Early Years qualification and gained her Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification in 2016. She has her hands full as a mum of 4 boys and is a great advocate of enjoying the outdoors!

Grainne has 26 years of working with children, mainly in a Montessori setting and currently volunteers at a local pre-school Forest school.
