SEN and PRU

As an Ofsted registered provider, our aim is to ensure that all young people are given the opportunity to experience quality outdoor education in a safe environment.

We accommodate young people who are not in mainstream education (EOTAS), in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), in Complimentary Education, or with Special Educational Needs (SEN) including Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Downs Syndrome, hearing or sight impairment, those children with moderate physical disabilities and those with an EHCP.

We run courses for primary and secondary school children, and for those from disadvantaged backgrounds or poor inner city areas. We also maintain partnerships with Pupil Referral Units and Prince’s Trust centres.

“We have been bringing groups of young people to Mojo Active regularly for the last few years and are always delighted with the experience they provide! Our young people have varying behavioural needs, but we always know that at Mojo, the tricky situations will be met with patient and calm responses and that each session is tailor-made for our students’ individual needs. All the activities are designed to draw out essential skills but the young people, who struggle to focus for long in school, are always having so much fun they don’t even realise they are learning at the same time!”
